Just plug the power and XLR or 1/4 TS and you are ready to go. It has a female XLR output to power a passive or send audio to an active speaker.
Support:
Great support! One of my old EV 12inch speakers stop working. I called and they told me where to take it for repair for no cost as it was still under warranty. Excellent Service!
Overall:
I will soon buy the new generation 15 inch Powered Speakers from EV to match it with the sub.

The speaker cabinets are heavy duty and built to todays rigerous standards.

The EV speakers are oustanding. I purchased these speakers to have more options with speaker arrangement and to add highs where needed. these are quality speakers……couldnt be happier.

There isnt much of a learning curve due to the internal crossover…..the frequencies are divided and sent where needed.

Contact with the company was easy to establish and the assistance was oustanding.
Overall:
I am very pleased with my purchase and will not have to try and fill that particular vacancy for a long time.
